• Where do I go at Gold's Gym?
  •   Enter gym and turn left past the reception desk.  Look for Skyline
Physical Therapy sign to the left.  If you are unsure ask the
    reception desk.

  • What should I bring to my first visit?
  •  insurance card, referral, loose clothing & athletic shoes, medication
list, completed forms (arrive 15 minutes early without forms)

  • How many appointments will I need for physical therapy?
  •   Length of treatment will depend on many factors including the
nature, severity, and duration of the injury.  Your physical therapist
will discuss the length of care needed after the evaluation.

  • What if I am not comfortable in a gym?
  •   During treatment your therapist will orient you to any equipment
in the gym facilities.  If you choose not to use the gym, all treatment
can be performed in a private treatment room.  Treatment is tailored
    to meet your needs.

  • Do I have to be a Gym member or purchase a membership to receive
    treatment?
  •   No
  •  If you are interested in joining the Gold's Gym during or after
treatment, a discounted rate with no enrollment fees is offered to
    patients of Skyline Physical Therapy.

  • Is Physical Therapy fun?
  •    It sure can be!  The amount of fun depends upon how much you
    bring to it as well.

  • Will Physical Therapy hurt?
  •    Please discuss this issue with your physcial therapist!  Each
individual's injury and perception of pain are different.  Some
stretching can be uncomfortable but your therapist will let you
know.  Some treatment techniques can make you sore for a day or
two.  However, overall your symptoms should improve after
treatment soreness resolves.  If you continue to have pain, then
you need to discuss this with your therapist.
